We support young people aged 5–17, including those with NDIS plans, youth under Guardianship, and young people facing challenges with school, mental health, or social connection, in Adelaide SA.

🕒 Flexible Timeframes Sessions can range from 50 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the services you are seeking. ​ 🌿 Flexible Locations Coastal Edge Youth Services operates on an out-reach based model. Sessions can happen at the local library, school settings, or—most popular—in natural outdoor settings like the park or beach. This provides a less intense, safe space ideal for emotional co-regulation and nature-based counselling. We do also offer Telehealth sessions when requested. ​ ​💬 First Session Our first session is about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you here and what you'd like to work on. ​ 🛠️ Future sessions could include ​ Counselling: A space to explore thoughts and feelings, practice and explore emotional regulation strategies. ​ Mentoring: Attending local community events, walks in local parks, along the beach, exploring nature trails and learning new social & practical skills. ​​ 🚀 Putting Therapy skills into Action: Together, we’ll practice what you learn in your daily life—side-by-side. This hands-on approach ensures you feel supported and empowered to maintain positive change every step of the way.

Information provided to Social Workers is confidential. Confidentiality means we will not disclose your information, or that you have sought assistance with us, without your permission. There are some exceptions to our ability to keep information confidential. We must, for instance disclose minimal information related to safety if we are concerned about risk of harm to you or another person. We are also bound by law to report suspected harm or risk of harm to children, and unregistered firearms.

Every child learns differently, and sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what’s needed to unlock their potential ​The Breakdown ​Mentoring: Real-World Adventures ​Where we go: Cafes, bookstores, local markets, swimming centres, zoos, and adventure parks. ​The Focus: Social inclusion, building life skills like cooking or routines, and safe risk-taking in the community. ​Session Length: Minimum 2 to 4 hours. ​Counselling: Building Internal Safety ​Where we meet: Schools, libraries, nature walks, or via Telehealth ​The Focus: Emotional regulation, creating internal safety, and navigating challenges like school refusal. ​Session Length: 50 minutes.

We accept plan and self-managed NDIS clients and private pay clients. We align our prices with the NDIS price fee structure.
