Helping kids & teens manage anxiety, low moods and big feelings

When the closed doors, heavy silences, and 'I'm fine' answers leave you wondering what you missed, traditional clinical paths might feel like too much pressure. We provide a different approach. Using nature-based counselling across Adelaide, we create a safe space for young people to step outside, explore their big feelings, and learn to regulate their emotions naturally.

Coastal Edge Youth Services provides nature-based counselling and mentoring for children and teens (ages 4–17) across Adelaide, SA. We specialise in trauma-informed, mobile support—meeting young people where they feel safest: outdoors, at school, in community spaces, or online.

We proudly support NDIS participants (self and plan-managed) and work collaboratively with families to strengthen wellbeing, nurture emotional literacy, and encourage personal growth.

 Holistic Wellbeing

We go beyond quick fixes by integrating emotional regulation strategies and practical life skills to support the whole person. Our holistic counselling approach addresses environment, community, and social connection—fostering deep resilience and long-term wellbeing for young people.

Person-Centered Counselling & Mentoring

Safety is the foundation for growth. Our trauma-informed youth counselling & mentoring sessions recognises that challenging behaviour is often a nervous system response. We meet each young person where they are, using person-centered support to build therapeutic relationships and achieve meaningful goals.

Some young people thrive outside traditional settings. We offer nature-based counselling—beach walks, parks, and trails—across Onkaparinga and Marion. This flexible, outdoor approach supports co-regulation, emotional safety, and calmness. Telehealth options are also available.
